Abstract In chloralkali industry, sulfate is one of the common impurities and has lots of hazards. This paper summarized the development of sulfate removal, pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of all kinds of removal methods and considered that the new removal method equiped with Zr(IV) composites could overcome the defects of the present methods after the successful preparation of new materials. The influence factors in the preparation process were analyzed and idea to prepare Zr(IV) composites was proposed. |
