Abstract The hydrolytic process of urea process condensate was simulated by chemical simulation software PROII, and a suggestion of unity of the two towers to the transformation of original flow device was proposed based on simulation calculation. Compared with the old process, the new process not only can achieve process indicators requirement of urea hydrolysis, but also has several advantages, including smaller area, simpler operation, less equipment investment and lower energy consumption.
