and Its Application in EInk

Abstract Pigment electrophoretic particles were prepared with Hansa yellow 10G as materials,hyperdispersant and assistantdispersant as modifier.Dispersibility,particle size distribution and electrophoretic mobility of modified Hansa yellow 10G in the electrophoretic medium were studied.The Hansa yellow 10G particles modified with hyperdispersant were characterized by FTIR and SEM.EInk containing dispersion liquids of modified Hansa yellow 10G was prepared by coacervation.Experiments revealed that Hansa yellow 10G particles modified with hyperdispersant had reversible electric response in the microcapsules.
