Abstract In this paper,the mathematical model of double tube counter flow ammonia synthetic tower was established,and the software of computer simulation based on this model was developed and researched.The proceeding of ammonia synthesis was simulated with the software for synthetic ammonia plant of specific scale,and the simulated results were consistent very well with the data of chemical process in practical plant.
