Abstract Fe-MCM-41 molecular sieves were synthesized and used as the catalyst for oxidation of cyclohexane to prepare cyclohexanone. With oxygen as oxygen source, under 2.5 MPa, influence of factors such as temperature, air flow and space velocity were investigated. The results show that under the conditions of 160 ��, air flow rate is 25 mL/min, space velocity is 1.0 h-1, the conversion rate of cyclohexane can reach 29.56%, yield of cyclohexanol is 9.63% and the yield of cyclohexanone is 23.72%. So Fe-MCM-41 molecular sieve is a good catalyst for oxidation of cyclohexane, and it is environmental-friendly, with low cost, high conversion rate and high selectivity of the oxidation.
