摘要 淤浆聚乙烯工艺中溶剂的选择非常重要。从溶剂对聚合物的溶解度、沸点和操作压力的关系、溶剂蒸发焓对反应撤热方式的影响,以及不同溶剂对工艺流程和产品质量的影响进行了分析和探讨。结果表明:采用釜式反应器时,戊烷作为溶剂应该是一个更好的选择,而采用管式反应器时,异丁烷和丙烷是更好的选择。

Abstract: The solvent selection is very important in the ethylene slurry polymerization process. The influence of solvent on the different aspects such as the polyethylene solubility in different solvent, relationship between boiling point and operating pressure, the effect of solvent evaporation enthalpy on the way of reaction heat removal, and separation process of polymerization slurry, were discussed. The results show that n-pentane is the most feasible solvent to vertical stirrer polymerization reactor, and iso-butane and propane are better solvents to loop polymerization reactor.
