Graft Copolymerization of Butyl Acrylate onto Gelatin Ⅱ、Effects of Reaction Parameters

The graft-copolymerization of butyl acrylate onto gelatin was carried out in aqueous medium using ceric ammonium nitrate as redox initiator. The effects of various reaction Parameters including reaction time, temperature, and concentrations of gelatin, monomer, initiator and nitric acid on the percentage of grafting and grafting efficiency were studied systematically. The influences of some inorganic salts, organic additives as welt as emulsifiers were also investigated.

Research on Synergistic Effect of Disperse Yellow Brown SE_2RLM
Chen Zhiji and Ma Xueying
The Synergistic effect of C.I.Disperse Orange 30 mixed with C.I.Disperse Orange 76(Disperse Yellow Brown SE-2RLM) was studied. The effect was confirmed by measurements on melting-point diagram, dye-uptake and build up. This disperse dye is a binary eutectic mixture. Compared with its components this yellow brown disperse dye with eutectic composition gives the highest dye-uptake on polyester fibre and has the advantages of higher colouring strength of original dye and better building up property, thermosol cμr.ve, pH relationship curve and fastness to sublimation than both or one of the component dyes.
