Abstract The solid-liquid equilibrium data for five binary systems: o-dichlo robenzene/m-dichlorobenzene; m-dichlorobenzene/p-dichlorobenzene; 1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene/odichlorobenzene; 1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene/m-dichlorobenzene; 1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene/p-dichlorobeneezen had been determined by differential scanning c-alorimetry and had been correlatad by the equation : T=T_m~*[1+sum from j=1 to n a_j(x_1-x_1~*)~j] Where T_m~*——melting point of component x_1~*——equilibrium mole fraction of component 1 at temp. T_x~* a_j—adjustable parameter Through determing the solid—liguid equilibrium of pseudo binary system from dichlorobenzene isomers and 1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene, the solidliquid equilibrium temperature-composition relations for following ternary systems had been determined: o-dichlorobenzene/m-dichloroenzene/p-dichlorobenzene; o-dichlorobenzene/p-dichorobenzene/1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene, and o-dichlorobenzene/m-dichlorobenzene/1, 2, 4-trichlorobenzene.
