Simulation Optimization and Enlargement of Waste Water Stripping Column

Abstract The sulfurous waste water striping unit of Huabei Petrochemical Company was simulated in this paper. The simulated results agree very well with the practical data. The affecting factors, such as the flowrate of the cold feed stream to the hot feed stream, the flowrate of the top product, the flowrate of the side draw product and the top pressure of the column, were investigated to the waste water striping column. The suitable operating conditions were obtained.
