Compatibilizing Agent for the Blend System of Polypropylene and Starch

Abstract In this paper octadecyl acrylate(OA)-maleic anhydride(MA) copolymer were prepared and used as compatibilizing agent of the blend system of polypropylene,starch and inorganic filler,which can be used as photo-biodegradable plastic.According to the analysis of mechanical properties,rheological properties,and DSC results,the prepared OA-MA copolymer is suitable to be used as the compatipilizing agent for the blend system.
