Abstract The epoxy compounds of olefins is an organic intermediates applied most extensively.Epoxidation of olefins is the most important reactions in organic synthesis. This paper reviews the progress in epoxidation reaction of olefins under two-phase conditions, with heteropoly acids as catalyst, quaternaries as phase-transfer catalyst and hydrogen peroxide as oxidant.
