Abstract Quality of protein crystallization was influenced by many factors,including protein concentration,protein purity,degree of supersaturation,temperature,pH,precipitant type and its concentration,pressure,electrostatic/magnetic fields,additives,the type and concentration of stripping solution(membrane crystallization),ionic strength and counterions and so on.The major influencing factors during protein crystallization were summarized,which can provide references for protein structure analysis,new drug design,biochemical research and industrial production.
