Abstract Fluorescein and calcein,as interwell tracers, were compared to find a method to measure the concentrations of fluorescein and calcein in the water sample, and the accurate curves of tracer concentration were obtained. This can provide reference for oil reservoir information. The method proposed was simple and convenient with high precision and accuracy. The detection error was within 2.5% and the detection range for fluorescein and calcein was 00.35 mg/L,00.89 mg/L,respectively.
