Abstract Adsorption is now broadly used in air separation,hydrogen production,dehydration of gases and other areasAspen Adsorption is specifically designed for the simulation of adsorption processIn this paper,hydrogen chloride dehydration process was simulated with Aspen Adsorption,parameters of isotherm were estimated,breakthrough curve,the water concentration in the bed void and the loading of adsorbent at different time were calculated in the simulationVariations of breakthrough curve caused by changing of mass transfer coefficient and pressure were studied respectively and the result was consistent with previous work.
