Study on the Water-adulterating Process of Heavy Fuel Oil

Abstract The preparation and heating value determination of emulsified fuel oil as well as the constituents of composite emulsifier are discribed. The dependence of heat value on various factors is also discussed. The model EA-3 heavy (residual) oil emulsifier developed is simple in manufacturing process and ideal in saving energy and preventing environmental pollution. The experimental results show that it is an emulsifier of good guality for heavy and residual oil.
