Abstract Adding butyric acid and a small amount of KOH into an autoclave,reacted with EO PO mixer,BA x EO/ y PO is synthesized.Then another part of KOH is added to remove the water.At last,the butyric acid copolyether is obtained when another part of EO and PO mixer was added.The optimum reaction conditions,the quality index of products,the critical micelle concentration(CMC),emulsifiability and cloud point of the product have been determined.
