Study on Phase Structure of Expanding Carbonaceous

Abstract By X ray diffraction technology,phase structure of carbonaceous char being formed in the process of combustion of intumescent coating has been studied systematically.The results show that,beside amorphous carbon,in the structure of expanding carbonaceous char,there is also titanium pyrophosphate which plays an important role in the fire proof function of intumescent coating.
