Abstract Based on neutral equations dissociated theory, the model was established to describe the relationship between ion concentration of ammonia desulphurization detergent and pH, and its influencing factors were discussed. The results show that when ionic balance value is equal to or close to 10, the model can accurately describe the relations of the ions concentration and pH of desulphuring cleaning mixture. With acid ion and alkaline ion concentration increasing, pH values present a trend to decrease. The model can be used as a reasonable criteria to evaluate pH value of ammonia desulphurization detergent. The diagram between sulfur elements and pH value was obtained with the experimental study, and the model modification methods were put forward.
