Abstract:
The leaching rate of silver is sped up through the cnhancencnt of mass transport and cathode reactlon by adding MS additive. The process is well described by using Shrinking Core Model. Experimental resalts indicate that the whole precess of leaching is still controlled by. the diffusion of reactants in the presence of MS. Experimental data obtained and theoretical analysis lead to the development of the following model: 1-(1-X)2/3=[26.5w~(1.40)S~(0.48)[CN~-]~(0.02)exp(-6598/R'T)]t The average deviation of the computed results from the experimental data is found to be 4.3% only.
