Abstract�� PVP(K-30) was prepared using N-vinylpyrrolidone(NVP) as raw material by solution polymerization.Effects of initiator,chain transfer agent and temperature on the K-value and residual N-vinylpyrrolidone concentration were investigated.The optimal technical conditions were as follows:concentration of NVP is 40%.Temperature of polymerization is(75 ��.) The initiator is composed of initiator A and B,m(A)/m(NVP)is 0.02 and m(B)/m(NVP) is 0.01.V(chain transfer agent D)/V(NVP monomer solution)is 0.02.The relative molecule mass(M) is 29.8.
