Abstract
The experiments were conducted in a 90 mm(1 000 mm) transparent Plexiglas model by hydrogen steady notifying. The effects of superficial velocity and catalyst circulating rate on stripping efficiency, expand rate of beds, density of beds were investigated using random plastic packing instead of traditional internals, and this was compared with that of nothing as internals under the same operation condition. The resided time distribution of gas phase and fluiding difference in two fluidized beds also were investigated. The results showed that better efficiency and higher catalyst circulating rate were gained using packing as internals than nothing, the using efficiency of bed was improved, the fluidized condition in packing beds proned to plug flow compared with that of nothing as internals.
