Abstract�� PAN-based carbon fibers have some excellent properties,such as high strength,high modulus,heat-resistance and anti-erosion,etc.,and it has been widely used in the fields of shipbuilding,chemical and engineering industries ect.It is very important for PAN-based carbon fiber precursor that solvent diffuses from spinning solution to coagulation bath in dry-jet wet-spinning process.In this paper,according to Fick's laws,a mathematical model of solvent diffusion in dryjet wet-spinning process was established,and equations which can describe the solvent concentration distribution were derived.Several effects on solvent concentration distribution were also discussed.
