Abstract:
Because CaO contained in the cement castable can generate the low total melting,the properties of cement castables at high temperature can be weakened.Therefore,we need to develop a new binder to replace cement to improve the properties at high temperature,as well as at room temperature.Based on acrylamide gel system a new type of binder for castables was developed by adding micropowder.It was concluded that after drying at(110 ℃,) the castable showed good properties such as the bulk density,apparent porosity,cold crushing strength and bending strength,especially bending strength was improved largely.Through sintering at high temperature,better properties of the castable was obtained.
