Abstract:
The LiCo1/3Mn1/3Ni1/3O2 cathode materials for lithiumion batteries were synthesized by mechanical activationhigh temperature solidstate method.The effect of reaction conditions(n(Li)/n(M)and ball milling effects)on the structure of the products was investigated.The products were analyzed by Xray diffraction spectroscopy(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and electrochemical tests.Under optimum condition the materials LiCo1/3Mn1/3Ni1/3O2 cathode had good cyclic performance.The initial discharge capacity was 160 mA·h/g at a current density of 20 mA/g between 2.7—4.5 V and the discharge capacity retention was 9698% after 30 cycles.
