Abstract The activity coefficients of binary solutions have been correlated with topologicalindex~3ξ characteristic of a molecule. The resulting equation is Where and It is a Paramneter determined by experiment. With the above equation, the solid--liquid equilibria (t--x) of 27 binary eutectic systems have been calculated with the satisfactory results.
