Abstract The binary and ternary solid-liquid equilibria (t-x) for nitrochlorobenzeneisomer systems had been determined by differential scanning calorimetry.Inaddition,using the equation of excess Gibbs energy G~E which was correlatedwith the topological index,the binary and ternary solid-liquid equilibria (t-x) for nitrochlorobenzene isomer systems were calculated.The G~E equation isG~E=RT where k_(ij) is an adjustabte parameter between two molecularity determinedby exeperiment.By this equation the maximum deviation between T_(cal) andT_(exp) is tess than 2K.
