Abstract The alkylpolyglycoside ofhexadecylw as synthesized by alcohol exchange gly cosidation m ethod. The process conditionsw ere investigated and recom m ened asfol low s:2# catalystw as choosed;its am ountby w eightis 0 8% ; the m olarratio ofn butanolto glucose is 6��1 and hexdecylalcoholto glucose is 0 75��1; the reactiontem perature is 110�� and reaction tim e is 3 0h. The yield of A P G is m ore than85 97% .
