Abstract The application of the by\|products(mixture of N\|hydroxyethyl\|piperazine and N\|β\|hydroxyethyl\|ethylenediamine)from the manufacture of piperazine was involved in this paper.Using Ba\|Sr\|2 as catalyst and the mixture of N\|hydroxyethyl\|piperizine and N\|β hydroxyethyl ethylenediamine as the materials to synthesize triethylenediamine,the result showed when operating at a temperature range of 360℃ and 380℃,the yield of triethylenediamine was over 60% and the purity was 99.9%.
