Abstract The single phase BZP powder was synthesized by coprecipitate method. The size distribution and the sinter characteristic of the powders abtained by two different dispersion methods were investigated.The results show that a narrow size distribution can be abtained by dispersing of small molecular organic solvent,and the average particle size of powder is 1.6 ��m��1.8 ��m. In addition,agglomeration can be prevented by controlling pH=7��11 during liquid synthesis.
