Abstract As gas-sensing materials,iron oxide nanoparticles are paid much attention.The widely used preparations of the iron oxide nanoparticles in recent years such as sol-gel method,coprecipitation method,hydrothermal method,hydrolysis method are expounded and evaluated.After being doped different substance,the special gas-sensing properties of particles have been shown.The different sintering process of the gas-sensing components based on iron oxide has been compared.
