Abstract 7-aminocephalosporanic acid(7-ACA),a critical intermediates in the production of semisynthetic cephalosporanic antitiotics,plays an important role in the medical field.The research of praparation and crystallization processes of 7-ACA were reviewed.There are two kinds of methods for preparing 7-ACA,that is chemical cleavage and enzymic method.The cleavage and two-step enzymic method were introduced in detail.The crystallization process of 7-ACA was discussed too.The research direction of the preparation and crystallization process of 7-ACA has been predicted.
