Abstract The source of ethylene is insufficient at present in China.Extraction of ethylene from catalytic cracking dry gas is an efficient means to reduce waste and increase the output of ethylene.Technologies such as cryogenic separation, absorption separation, hydrate separation, membrane separation, adsorption separation and hybrid process have been introduced in this paper. And the technic-econimic comparison of some separation technologies is also made. The adsorption separation is considered to be a promising technology in industry.
