Abstract Porous media can be regarded as stochastic fractal.Diffusion in fractal media,as an anomalous diffusion,is different from that in Euclidean space.Fractional diffusion equation can describe diffusion process in fractal media more exactly than the normal differential diffusion equation.Three influential diffusion equations in fractal media have been discussed.
