Abstract The aggregation properties of synthesized Gemini anionic surfactant solution were measured by (steady-)state fluorescence method. The measured results were in accordance with the results by other methods such as electronic conductivity and surface tension,therefore,steady-state fluorescence method was proved to be feasible as a method of measuring aggregation properties of anionic Gemini. And the variational rule of fluoresence intension close to critical micelle concentration C_(cmc) of Gemini and monomer-surfactant was briefly analyzed.
