Abstract A new type of furan resin was first designed and the synthetic process of the new resin was thoroughly analyzed experimentally.The mortar was made with the new resin precursor,curing agent and inert filler.The dynamic performance,corrosion rate and coking time of the mortar were tested under normal temperature and after heat treatment and corrosion individually.The results indicate the mortar is highly resistant to acid and alkali medium.
