Abstract The conditions to prepare Chuanxiong (Chinese Traditional Medicine) dropping pills with self-designed experimental machine are studied by the method of temperature gradient condensation.This paper mainly investigates the influences of primary substance's ratio, dropping distance,etc. on the specification of dropping pills by orthogonal test.The results will provide a reference for the improvement of dropping pills machine and the optimization of its preparation procedure.
