Abstract This paper reviewed the progress of structure-activity relationship and chemosynthetic methods of brassinosteroids in recent years.On the basis of analyzing structure-activity relationship,the key points and solving methods of synthesizing brassinosteroids are introduced from the synthesis of matrix-cycle and introducing side chain.
