Abstract A continuous distillation technique is exploited for production of p-tert-butylphenol by means of simulation and design of process by which the mixture of tert-butylphenol can be separated.Compared with traditional batch distillation technique,the application of the continuous distillation technique in industry showed that it has characteristics of high purity and yield of product,steady quality of product,low energy consumption.Applying the continuous distillation technique in the production of p-tert-butylphenol is reasonable, and has promising applications.
