Abstract The changes of temperature,the setting temperature and solvent are all important factors affecting the formation of Se nanowire.Lowering the temperature of Se solution,Se saturated in water and Se nuclei formed.The degree of the temperature lowered also influenced the formation of Se nanowire,and the temperature of cold water below 40 ℃ was good for Se nuclei fabrication.The setting temperature was another factor that affected the growth of Se nanowire.Result showed that,when the setting temperature was higher than 60 ℃,it is difficult for Se nuclei to grow into Se nanowires.Solvent also has an evident effect on Se nanowire growth and as a solvent,water is better than alcohol for the growth of Se nanowire.
