Abstract As an important intermediate of chemical reaction,alcohol,especially secondary alcohol,plays an important in industrial production,medicine synthesis and daily living.The asymmetry reduction of ketones has become frontier field of organic synthesis chemistry,and it's also the fast developing and more successful field in recent years.The advance in asymmetry reduction of ketones is reviewed in this paper,and many kinds of asymmetry reduction reactions are introduced.
