Abstract The n-butyl methacrylate-PEG comb polymer was synthesized by n-butyl methacrylate(BMA) and poly(ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate(POEM) with AIBN as initiator and tetrahydrofuran as solvent.The structure and properties of the copolymers have been investigated by()~1H-NMR,DSC and measurement of surface contact angle.The results show feed ratio has important effect on the structure and properties of the copolymers and the content of the two units in the copolymer coincides with its feed ratio.As the content of BMA increases,the melting point,enthalpy of fusion,dynamic contact angle of copolymer rise.
