Abstract Inorganic ion exchangers were produced from natural zeolite and its adsorption isotherm curve was protracted and its cation exchange capacity was also measured.Adsorption kinetic curves of NH~+_4 on Mesolit were employed to obtain the equilibrium adsorption time.The results showed inorganic ion exchanger had the highest cation exchange capacity of 50 mg/g at normal temperature when Improver A was used as modified material and natural zeolite and Improver A were mixed with a ratio of 4∶1,the equilibrium adsorption time was 2 h.
