Abstract A new auto exhaust three-way catalyst with La_(0.6)Ce_(0.4)MnO_3 perovskite and Pt-Pd as active ingredient was developed in this paper.The quantity of noble metal in the new catalyst was decreased greatly,and so the cost was lowered compared to the similar products in the market.The evaluation tests indicate that the new catalyst has higher activity than the catalyst sold in the market.
