Abstract Based on UNIFAC model by the group contribution method,corresponding calculation program was compiled by means of MATLAB software for selecting solvent,researching the performance of solvent and investigating conditions for extractive distillation.Through the calculation of the relative volatility under different solvents and conditions for some azeotropic systems,optimum solvents have been chosen,and the influences of temperature and ratio of solvent on relative volatility were discussed.
