Abstract Potassium ferrate,a new green oxidant,has powerful oxidization and high selectivity,but it is difficult to solve in organic solvent in the oxidation.So the oxidation of cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone by potassium ferrate was studied,the catalyst system of ultrastable zeolite,phosphoric acid and potassium ferrate could accelerate oxidation cyclohexanol to cyclohexanone and showed good oxidation ability in the organic solvent.
