Abstract Because of insufficient usage of mineral waste residue,the preparation of sorbent of phosphor with slag was brought forward to treat wastewater.The experimental results indicated the suitable preparation conditions were:caly,water and slag were mixed together with mass ratio of 1.0∶1.0∶1.0,and(FeSO_4[m(FeSO_4)/)m(clay,water and slag)=0.07] was added, baked 5 miutes at 500 ℃.It was used to treat the wastewater with mass concentration of 50 mg/L,the addition of this sorent was 0.8 g/L,vibration time was 1.5 h and at pH 7—8,the removal rate of phosphor were about 95%.
