Abstract The calculation method for climbing film evaporator was used to simulate the evaporators of first stage and second stage urea solution.The properties of solution system were built and the proper convective heat transfer coefficient calculation method was chosen,and then the simulation of the climbing film evaporator of the urea solution was achieved by using infinitesimal section method.The results of calculation agreed well with the data of actual device.This simulation could provide the theoretical foundation for assessment of equipment capacity,analysis of enlarging scale,and design of new equipment.
