Abstract 1 716.2 mg/L high concentrations of ammonianitrogen wastewater from Ende coal gasification process of Tongliao Tongshun carbon factory was treated by homemade air stripping device.The influence of temperature, pH, throughput and air blowing off time were investigated. The experimental results show that the optimal conditions are: the temperature 25 ℃, pH 11,  throughput 1 m3/h, reaction time 150 min. In that condition, the ammonia nitrogen removal rate of water can be 99.52%,concentration of ammonia nitrogen is 8.28 mg/L, which meet the integrated emission standard of discharge wastewater GB 8978-1996.
