Abstract On the basis of Weber equation and SatoRiedel method for prediction thermal conductivity of liquid substances, a new calculation model for thermal conductivity of liquid substances was proposed according to analysis of the influence factors on thermal conductivity for liquid substance. By the model, thermal conductivity of 34 systems of liquid with 27 kinds of organic and 7 kinds of inorganic containing 100 data points at different temperatures were predicted. The overall average relative deviation of calculated values with the literature data was 3.00%, and the correlation was more accurate than literature correlations. The model is simple and convenient, with the mole mass, critical temperature critical  compress factor, and normal boiling point temperature of predicted liquid, the thermal conductivity of liquid at different temperatures can be immediate predicted.
