Abstract Metastable equilibrium of univariant curve of NaNO3-KNO3 and the influence of humidity in the quaternary system Na+, K+//Cl-, NO-3-H2O were studied at 298 K by isothermal evaporation method. According to the experimental data, metastable equilibrium didn’t occur obviously in the univariant curve of NaNO3-KNO3 not only at lower humidity but also at higher humidity.
